 Richard Mitchell joined Wickersham Jewelers Inc. in 1999 and specializes in hand-fabrication, design, stone setting, hand engraving, and casting. Richard is a true master craftsman trained in the tradition art of hand made jewelry. He is a rare breed in today’s age of mass production jewelry, and continues to produce some of the finest jewelry available in the world today.
Richard began an apprenticeship in 1980 from a European master jeweler trained at the Stuttgart Institute of Handwork in Germany. He received his certificate of jouneymanship in 1983 and continued working for the master jeweler until 1988. Richard continued his career at the finest jewelry stores in California while developing his skills as a hand engraver and master goldsmith.
