 Martin Smoot specializes in unique jewelry design, stone setting, casting, wax carving and hand fabrication. His attention to detail, symmetry, and polish make him rate among the top jewelers in the United States.
Martin Smoot began his jewelry career in 1984. He attended the Jewelry Manufacturing Arts program at the Gemological Institute of America where he graduated in 1985. He received his Diamond diploma from the Gemological Institute of America later that year and was awarded the title of Registered Jeweler from the American Gem Society in 1986. He completed the Revere Academy Stone Setting course in 1987 and attained the Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemological Institute of America in 1988. In 1989, Martin earned the title of Certified Gemologist and in 1990 earned the jewelry industry’s most prestigious title of Certified Gemologist Appraiser from the American Gem Society.
